Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 est largement applicable, en particulier pour la production de pi\u00e8ces rotatives. Toutefois, en raison de sa faible efficacit\u00e9 de production, le repoussage convient davantage \u00e0 la production d'essais et \u00e0 la fabrication de petites s\u00e9ries.
